Ms. Amin is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan Skills Limited. She is an experienced legal practitioner who holds a Masters in Business and Commercial Law, as well as Bachelor of Law Degree from Bayero University Kano and a Diploma in Negotiation skills. Ms. Amin is also a PPP Speacialist from the Institute of Public Private Partnership Washington DC.
As a vastly experienced administrator, Ms. Amin has acquired immense knowledge, experience and competencies in her core areas of interest, which are litigation, private banking, corporate practice and consultancy. Her deep understanding of the complexities in her chosen areas makes her exceptional.
Ms. Amin is very eloquent, articulate and tactful. An avid reader and negotiator, her passion for research and writing is unsurpassable. Her interest and vision in the development of human capital as a catalyst for socio-economic development through skills acquisition, training and retraining of personnel led to the establishment of the Metropolitan Skills Ltd.
However, before incorporating the Metropolitan Skills Ltd, Ms. Amin had served as the Pioneer General Counsel with Northbridge Investment and Trust Limited (an Investment banking Firm) as well as Head of Human Resources and Administration of the same organization. She also served as the Secretary to the Board of Northbridge and the Head of Compliance.
Ms. Amin worked with Chambers of Mohammed Shuaib as well as Solomon E. Umoh & Co. (both reputable Firms of Legal Practitioners) as the Head of Chambers, specializing in Arbitration, Litigation and Corporate practices as well as election petitions.
A skilled manager of men and materials, Ms. Amin has within the short time of the existence of the Metropolitan Skills Limited turned the company into a top class training and consultancy outfit. Her desire and passion is to see that the company becomes a training institute of international standard.

Sheikh Ziyaad has studied a BCom (Accounting) at the University of Johannesburg, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (DMS), an MBA through the Management College of South Africa and a Certificate in Islamic Law from the University of KZN.
Ziyaad has served as an Accountant, IT Director, Management Consultant and CEO of highly reputable companies in South Africa. Before entering private consultancy, he served as National Marketing and Product Development Executive for Albaraka Bank, South Africa, achieving numerous awards and achievements. He has also been intimately involved in launching a Unit Trust and the only Islamic Insurance Company in South Africa, as well as private equity and specialized asset class funds in Mauritius.
He is a highly regarded Trainer and Advisor to Islamic Financial Institutions in Mauritius, Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi and South Africa. He has consulted /trained more than 3,000 Finance Professionals and Scholars in Islamic Finance within Africa, Europe and the Middle East. He is also a prolific trainer in Basel ll implementation and interpretation. He was ranked as the highest rated presenter and trainer for 2007 and 2009 International Islamic Finance Forums in South Africa, out of 36 best practitioners in the world.
Sheikh Ziyaad is currently a technical consultant, Shari’ah Advisor and subject matter expert to companies in Africa and Mauritius.
He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and specializes in Islamic Finance and private equity. He leads the IFC activities in the area of government policy advisory. Omar has been at the forefront of establishing the UK Government’s strategy for making the city a leading Western hub for Islamic Finance through the UKTI, HM Treasury Committees and Mansion House Trade delegations.
He has lectured at various global conferences and universities and is involved in development initiatives through waqf, shariah governance and Islamic microfinance.
Omar background includes working with Ernst and Young where he was recognized as the UK firm’s subject matter expert for Islamic Finance offering within UK. At Ernst & Young, he also worked with the UK Private Equity team and the multi-award winning EY Islamic Financial Services Group in Bahrain.
Mohammed is a certified Software Analyst from Le InstitutBelge De Programmation (the Belgian Institute of Programming). He expanded his scope by attending 6 Microsoft NT courses in the UK and attained his Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) status.
He built competence in several programming languages including Borland Delphi, Visual Basic, MS Access, Dbase, COBOL, and RPGII. He has handled networking projects for British Airways, consulted for National Investment Promotion Council (NIPC), Nigerian Defense Industries, Kaduna, supervised IT training for the Nigeria-Sao Tome Joint Development Authority (JDA) and several other organizations. Mohammed also carried out various networking and consulting projects for individual clients.
He was an IT Officer in the National Board for Community Banks, Systems Administrator in the Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund (PTF). In the past 12 years, he has managed IT companies: Adansa Services, Arit Solutions, Microtel Ltd. and Intellisys Consulting Ltd. Mr. Mahmud has also authored some IT works.
Attahiru Maccido has an MSc in Economics from University of Abuja and a BSc in Economics from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto. Attahiru heads the Northern Region of Lotus Capital Ltd, a SEC-licensed Islamic Finance Fund Manager, Investment Adviser and Issuing House. Attahiru was instrumental in structuring Nigeria first private Sukuk Al-Istisna, issued by Lotus Capital and first Islamic Equity Index - NSE Lotus Capital Islamic Index (launched in July 24, 2012).
Attahiru has also structured an IjaraSukuk for a State Government and a corporate organization (being reviewed by SEC). Mr. Maccido trained many staff of Lotus Capital on Islamic Finance and represents the company in public lectures and presentations. He also worked with Profund Securities Limited as Head of Equity and Debt Issues Department from 2006 to 2008 as well as SEC in Securities and Investments Services Department from 2002 to 2006. Prior to SEC, Mr. Maccido was with Federal Ministry of Works and Housing and Federal Character Commission, Abuja.
Mr. Maccido is a member, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Economics Institute (MEI).
Rahma is a graduate of Accounting with BSc. ( EDU) from the Federal University of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory. She is a skillful, resourceful, and industrious person.
Before joining The Metropolitan Skills, she worked briefly at the Government Day Secondary School, Abuja in a teaching capacity. Ms Ramat is a dedicated and hardworking team player; contributing to the pursuit of our shared corporate objectives at MetSkills.
Mr. Taiwo received a Bachelor of Science (Ed) Degree from the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. He has diverse background in Computer Science, Website design, Hardware/software installation and maintenance, Troubleshooting.
Before joining the Metropolitan Skills Ltd, Mr. Taiwo served as an Intern IT supports officer with EMIS Unit, Lagos State Basic Education Board, Maryland (SUBEB). He also worked with Safecon Nig Ltd as Computer Instructor/graphic designer. He is a determined hard working person, ever ready to deliver on target with an eye for details. He was involved in various aspects of training including Project Management, Human Resource Management, Skill acquisition at Lagos State Center, Eredo-Epe.
Mr. Taiwo is dedicated and hard working and has contributed immensely to the realization of the objectives of the Metropolitan Skills Limited.
